Do I need to install anything to track QR code scans?
No. Tracking happens in the Reqlick link behind every QR code, so nothing runs on the destination page. You do not add scripts, pixels, or apps. That means you can track scans to pages you do not control, such as a marketplace listing or a Google Form. Scan data appears on your dashboard within about a minute.
How long does Reqlick keep QR code scan history?

Why do my QR code scans differ from my website analytics visits?
Reqlick counts a scan when the code is opened, before the redirect. Website analytics count a visit only after the page loads and its tracking script runs. Slow pages, closed tabs, and ad blockers widen the gap. Add UTM parameters to the destination URL in Reqlick so Google Analytics labels the visits that did arrive from the QR code.
