How do I track opens on files I share, not just PDFs?
Reqlick tracks every file type it accepts. Upload DOCX, XLSX, CSV, PPTX, images, MP4 or MOV videos, or ZIP files, and share the link Reqlick generates. Recipients view or download the file from their browser, and each open is logged with a timestamp, city, country, and device. All your shared files and their opens sit in one dashboard.
Can I see which files in a shared set were opened and which were ignored?
Yes. Give each file its own Reqlick link, for example the report, the spreadsheet, and the appendix, and compare opens on your dashboard. A file with no opens tells you what the recipient skipped, and a file opened several times shows what held their attention. Use that to decide what to cover on your next call.
What analytics does Reqlick file tracking include?
Every Reqlick file link records total views, unique visitors, timestamps, city and country, device type, browser, operating system, and referrer. It also separates new from returning visitors and shows average visit time. History lasts 90 days on Starter, 1 year on Pro, and 5 years on Business, so longer projects need Pro or Business to compare opens over time.
What file types and storage does Reqlick file tracking include?
Every Reqlick plan accepts PDFs, Office documents, images, MP4 and MOV videos, and ZIP archives, up to 500 MB per file. Starter includes 100 file uploads and 10 GB of storage, Pro includes 500 uploads and 50 GB, and Business includes 5,000 uploads and 500 GB. Pro and Business also add passwords and expiration dates.
